Hi!  My name is Paula Bishop. 

Hi and thanks for stopping by!  My name is Paula Bishop and and I live in Veazie, a small suburb of Bangor, ME,  with my husband, Steve.  We have two wonderful, successful, grown sons of whom we are extremely proud of.  In December 2007, a new Havanese puppy was introduced into our home, "Bandit".  He has filled the "empty nest syndrom" for us and is such a joy!  I take him everywhere I go and people love him!  We also have a love bird, "Luther".    Check out our pictures!

My background is similar to many, maybe even yours.  I had a bright and promising career in the travel industry and then management. I traveled extensively to exotic places like Tahiti, Hawaii, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, as well as Switzerland, Germany, London, Scotland and most of the Caribbean Islands, Mexico, South America, and across our great USA.  I enjoyed traveling around the world, meeting people from all walks of life, and earning a good income.

My time really wasn't my own. I love to travel and I enjoyed tremendously what my "JOB" had provided for me. Then  one day I realized I was not enjoying the important things in my life.  I became extremely tired of the 50 - 60 hour work week and the stress. When our company downsized by merging two local offices, I was offered the opportunity to stay, but I decided this was "my opportunity" to move on.  Although I was not ready to make that dicision "on my own", when it presented itself to me, I sighed a breath of relief. Have you ever felt like that? 

I enjoyed a couple months to myself, doing what I wanted to do, gardening, reading, relaxing in the fresh air, walking, enjoying "me" time.  Most importantly, not answering to a boss or getting up to the sound of an alarm clock and it felt good.  I knew right away I wanted to have full control of my life.  I began a search to see what was out there, that would allow me to work from the comfort of my home, when I wanted to work and I stumbled upon a "Love Candles" ad in my local paper and that is when it all began for me......

I call all the shots now, I work when and where I want to, and I no longer answer to anyone.  This truly is my business, and I get paid on the efforts I put in.  It truly is that simple, if I can do it successfully, you can too!
